Mac iTunes解決「This device isn’t eligible for the requested build」

每當剛發布新版 iOS 時，便會有許多網友向 TWweeb 詢問，在更新時一直跳出：無法在此時更新 iPhone 「 iPhone 」…等出如此類的訊息視窗。這是一個 iOS 在更新時常見的 3194 錯誤。在嘗試更新或回復 iPhone 、 iPad 或 iPod touch 時， iTunes 可能顯示的錯誤訊息。

原因

此狀況發生於 iTunes 無法連接更新和回復伺服器（gs.apple.com）時。極有可能是因為該連線被阻擋、重新導向，或遭資訊安全軟體、hosts 檔案項目或其他協力廠商的軟體中斷。

第1步 開啟「工具程式」，可以從桌面的地方點選「前往」>「工具程式」。

第2步 接下來開啟「終端機」。

第3步 接下來請先輸入一段取得權限的指令，

sudo -s

接下來請按下Enter鍵，接著再輸入修改hosts檔案的指令，

sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts

最後再按下Enter鍵即可修改hosts檔案。

第4步 要做的事只有一件，就是在最後一行「74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com」，的前面加上一個「#」，像是這個樣子。

第5步 最後當然就是儲存檔案囉。
